Hello, I Love You

From Waiting for the Sun (1968)

History

"Hello, I Love You" was The Doors' second number-one hit. The song was written by Jim Morrison several years before The Doors formed, and its catchy melody and simple lyrics made it a commercial success. However, the song was also criticized for its similarity to The Kinks' "All Day and All of the Night."
